Value
Good buy secondhand - simple, solid engineering - No Tricks! 3rd gear is notchy

Service sapres competitive- Nissan Labour rates exhorbitant , but Delaesr helpful with technical advice ( if you ask)

On the road
Driving
Body roll on the road, but the best off road! Short wheelbase has very tight turning circle and is amazingly easy to park- despite width - Another storey with 5 door- too big to park in most supermarket spaces (Unless you take a "family one").
Performance
Gutsy, noisey direct injection diesel, pulls like a train. But gets hot when pushed on long journeys - temp rises and cools when you slow down! Do not drive hard on Motorways!

Living with it
Reliability
Pretty good so far (54K). Only normal service costs so far. Rumours of engine problems on Internet - The 4.2 Liter engine was unburstable - we shall have to see about the newer 3 litre.

Bit of a behemoth! Certainly see you coming , and visible in Carparks!
Comfort
Front seats fine(Arnmchairs) rear seats very uncomfortable - stupid rear armrests, Very small boot - Ideal for 2 passengers with rear seats down with dog crate, for shooting!

Nissan security System patchy- difficult to reset and use with remote.

Dealers service very exopensive labour rates for 2basic 4x4- Use any local good 4x4 dealers and more than half the costs

Engine tends to overgeheat on long motorway runs, cools when you slow up!

"Velvet " upholstery totally useless for 4x4.
