What does this car say about you?

That I have a need to be economical, save money and look after the environment however only the first part is true, the second part just happens to go along with it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    Everyone loves it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Without a doubt. It's cheap to buy in the first place, although I'd never buy a brand brand new one, list price is just daft but with delivery mileage and priced at just £5900 a pre-registered one is a bargain.

What are you likely to buy next?

My first choice, as in the past, would always be a Merc but with a need to be thrifty I'd have to have either another Pixo or a Hyundai i10. Not quite had this one a month yet so my next car is a long way off.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £5,900

When did you buy the car?

    December 2010

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car was registered to the dealer back in March, but had covered little more than delivery mileage. It's second hand but you'd never know it.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Circumstances meant that I needed to get rid of my rather expensive to run C Class.

    What was the dealer like?

    Very helpful.

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Light steering, a clutch so light you could almost breath on it to disengage. Pretty nippy but needs thoughtful gear changes as you approach a hill, for example. The three cylinder engine has an unusual, but not unpleasant, sound. The seats are narrow but comforable but the steering wheel feels too far away, if I move the seat forward I'm too close to the pedals, if I tip the seat back up I feel too upright. This car's so different to my C Class I'm just approaching it with an open mind, I'll get used to it.

    What's it like to park?

A doddle despite having a small rear window and shallow rear passenger door windows.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not had it very long but everything's working fine.

What's most practical about your car?

    Plenty of storage space inside.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Aircon was a must but, being December, I've not used it yet. This car's too basic to have much in the way of gadgets but you don't buy a Pixo for stuff like that.
