In their own words

So with a launch date on 28th April 2020 I preordered a black GT March 16th 2020. Then the world stopped and by August there was no sign of my order so I settled for a white Allure dealer car with 12 miles and all the extras except 18" alloys. Apart from fancy LED headlights, interior coloured lighting and a black gloss roof, the Allure has everything a GT has and white is popular so I took the plunge in to the world of EV. The range suffers in cold weather by 20% but its manageable seeing at delivers 186 miles in Summer. 0-60 mph is stated as 8.5s but it feels faster. It's comfortable for most sizes of people but not great for larger frames. The door handle digs in to your leg on long journeys. I have no idea why the e2008 has a transmission tunnel and a pretend gear stick. Both seem un-necessary. The piano switches are impossible to use without taking eyes off the road so best use the steering controls or touch screen. Storage benefits from a false floor in the boot and rear seat drop almost flat. The view of the dash through the steering takes some getting used to but a small steering wheel makes turning the e2008 very easy. For me the massive door card is too deep in to the cabin, the piano buttons are bit pointless and I would have liked just a bit more power. Otherwise its spot on.
