  • Summary

    2 out of 5 2.0

What does this car say about you?

There are some motorists who are intimidated when the are passed by a Proton , so they feel the need to bury the accelarator and pass me in return it shows that idiots are still out there .

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Some dont care for it I think most feel the same way about it , But I dont feel the need tohave a flash new car .

Would you buy this car again and why?

If it were possible to purchase new model , trouble with protons are is that they are overpriced at over £11000.

What are you likely to buy next?

Although I purchased this car in December 2012 I sold it in February 2013 , I offered it to the Proton Dealer I purchased it from but strange enough he was not interested even though I had purchased a private Proton plate for it I though he would bite my hand to get it as it would be a good selling point especially for a proton dealer ,this leads me to believe there was an mechanically expensive problem on the horizon for this car , I will never buy another Proton , Nobody wants to buy them , they lose value no matter how old they are , and they are just false economy.the new models coming out in April 2013 are more expensive and will clearly lose more value ,save your money and buy something better .

Previous ownership of this model in 2009 and it has 4 doors and large boot. And the fact that my previous Gen 2 was a really great car.

I have used the Proton dealer now since 2004 and they have been very good since they are based in London I am not happy with driving my car to them fro service /repair so They collect my car and return it when work completed.

Have you had any problems with the car?

So far the Audio buttons are playing up but they are going to be replaced under the dealers own warranty. The Radiator fan activates all the time my Proton Dealer could find nothing wrong , but he could not offer any remedy to the problem .

Boot space is very good stick to the speed limit and the fuel consumption is pretty good as well/.
