    What's it like to drive?

    Whether it’s travelling long distances or just around town, the Clio is a great car. The car is easy to drive in busy town centres and offers comfortable legroom and headroom. The dashboard instruments are well laid out and the seats are comfortable. When the interior is comfortable, it does feel cheap and looks very dull. The 1.2 engine is good, although feels underpowered for the lardy Mk2. In fact when there are four passengers and luggage on board its like trying to move the moon out of orbit using the motor from an electric food blender. The Clio can reach 60mph from standstill in around 15 seconds and has a top speed of 105mph.     What's it like to park?

    While the Mk2 is not the smallest of cars, it is very easy to park. The driver's all round view is good and the power steering helps at low speeds.

    Have you had any problems with the car?

    Immobiliser problems (prevents car starting sometimes) and varoius other electrical problems. Front spring broke in December 2006.

    What's most practical about your car?

    Good fuel economy, spacious, comfortable and affordable to run (I'm a student so I love it).
