What does this car say about you?

People think i'm borrowing my dad's car. It's the most incognito thing to drive ever.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends - call it the old manmobile Family - Love it. It's the weapon of choice if there's a long drive involved. Neighbours - He's another Renault enthusiast, so its gets a thumbs up.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yep, pleased with it from purchase. Much better quality control went into this model, compared to the older Lagunas (Not that the older ones were bad cars though).

What are you likely to buy next?

For the sake of becoming a 'petrol head' and trying something different. I would like to get behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo 159. We'll see how far my budget goes in the future. Right now, i'm happy with the Laguna :).

Did you get a good deal and why?

The car came with a years MOT and a service. It was HPI Checked before it was put on sale so we knew it was there wasn't any underlying problems.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Comfort Size Gadgets Economical

What was the dealer like?

The dealer (Cargiant) was actually quite a nice day out. There's hundreds of cars all sorts of specs and models side by side of each other. Going to a car supermarket made it easy to compare trim levels between models of car. We were left to our own devices, no pressure from salesman to make a purchase, and they were happy to help whenever we needed assistance.

What's it like to drive?

Admittedly the 1.5 is certainly not the quickest of cars, especially with a body that rivals a mondeo. However, it doesn't hold back on the motorway when you need to overtake, and at 64mph with cruise control on i was able to get up to 94.1 MPG. The price you pay for speed is comfort and excellent economy.

What's it like to park?

Tricky, it takes getting used to. Parking sensors may be a sensible choice for somebody that struggles with large vehicles. However, once you learn the size of the car by driving it and get the feel of it, it's not much different to any other car in its class.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing. Top Marks.

What's most practical about your car?

This is the largest car i've ever owned, so naturally i would say the large boot, and leg room.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise Control + arm rest ( Which seems to have been made for a person of exactly my height (5"8).
