In their own words

I purchased this car Having seen it advertised with low miles and 2 previous owners, the car is well equipped and roomy inside. The 3.0 v6 is a powerful motor and the automatic transmission is really good , probably not your more popular choice because it can be thirsty if you drive it hard but it is effortless to drive . I have owned it now for over 4 years and servicing and repairs are as follows, new tyres x4 , service x4 (once a year over 4 years) , brake discs and pads all round in the first year of ownership, and finally rear axle bushes which have been changed twice over the 4 years of ownership, these are a common mot fail on this car throughout the Laguna range and although it’s a weakness on this car it’s not a big job if you choose to do it yourself, you will save over £170 if you do, overall running costs aren’t too bad it is a luxury car afterall. Renault does have a reputation for faults on the electrics I haven’t had any as yet neither have any of the cool packs failed but I have put this down to it being regularly serviced all it’s life by main dealer. Would I recommend it the answer is yes taking into account everything I have listed it still is a sensible buy but if you are worried by the petrol engine the diesel is your best bet if you cover high mileage other than that only consider a looked after car with good service history and an hpi check.
