Renault Megane Cabriolet (1997 - 2003) 1.6 16V Dynamique + 2d Owner Review

Bought for £500 in the middle of this hot summer and have not had the roof up much since! Roof itself works perfectly, is like a saloon when raised and it's worth watching pedestrian's faces... 1.6 is brisk enough for me - apparently 2.0 is seriously quick. Seats 3 adults comfortably and boot is enough for a week's shopping - if I'd have wanted more, I'd have bought a Volvo estate. No mechanical issues since I bought it, nor any hint of any to come. It's not a 'sports car', but like the similar Peugeot 306, it offers an awful lot of open top fun for very little money.
