In their own words

Delivered faulty. In 10 months of ownership it has spent 5 at the dealer being repaired for repeat failures of the radio/control computer. Poor repair work broke other parts of the car, so it has never been fully operational to specification, and still isn't; they have always returned it with faults still present. I am at least £400 out of pocket in extra fuel for the diesel loan car Renault provided for a car bought largely for its environmental credentials. I was going to take legal action to enforce a rejection letter sent to them in December (when the car last went to the dealer for repair, and where it has been ever since), but have had to take it back because I needed some form of transport for my family due to Coronavirus and avoiding public transport. Because Renault knew I was considering legal action they have withdrawn the only compensation they were offering (for 10 months' disruption) of 2 free services. The main part of the car (drive train, engine, charging) has been good and it's a pleasure to drive when working. Overall experience spoiled by initial build quality coupled with poor quality repairs and obstructive / non-responsive / dishonest customer service agents. I will never buy another Renault again after my experiences.
