What does this car say about you?

Has a bit of an 'old mans' car image with added chrome (I'm only 34) Solid, conservative image, although it does look good.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most friends and neighbours like it, especially when they get inside, seats and trim are of good quality.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would have another, but another saloon or MG ZS due to the higher spec (don't buy a iE, very basic) as they are great value and something different than the Vauxhall or Ford offerings

Have part exchanged it for an MG TF, something a bit different...

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Had a Rover 400 Saloon and love it, bought an upgraded Rover 45.

What was the dealer like?

Was alright, nothing special, gave poor part exchange for old Rover 400.

What's it like to drive?

Handles very well, can roll slightly around corners if pushed hard but better than the previous Rover 400 model. Gear change smooth and positive, easy to use.

What's it like to park?

Very good, all round vision due to large glass areas, had no problems, power steering excelient at low speed

Have you had any problems with the car?

Niggles really, loose door handle, Airbag light on dash came on due to loose wire beneath the drivers seat, MG Rover did issue a service bulletin to fix it as there was a fault with the connectors.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot, especially when the back seats are folded, fitted all sorts of furniture over four years of ownership.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Stereo steering wheel volume adjustment, thats it, base model so not much to play with.
