In their own words

Decent motor and very cheap thrills. I have owned a few very nice cars before including Lancias, Daimlers, Mercs.... Bought this car from a mate who owned it from almost new. It's a nice looking car and is quite quick and refined. Parts are relatively cheap and there are loads around. They are super cheap to buy now and I can't think of a car where you get more value for money than this. Less than a grand should buy you a relatively low mile example that will last you a couple of years which is insane for a four seater cabriolet. It's just a nice car to drive around in. It's not an Integrale so don't expect rapier like handing or acceleration that will take the skin off your face but it's not designed to be a track day missile. It is a cool car though and it does not matter to me if other manufacturers have better figures on paper. Other cabriolets with four seats cost five times as much and the performance differences are so imperceptible it is virtually irrelevant. You're not blowing your life savings on it so my advice is to buy one for fun. The values will increase so as long as you keep on top of the servicing, you will never lose your money. The engine is cam chain driven so with regular servicing will not give you any grief and will not need replacing regularly at massive expense like a cambelted engine. I'm keeping mine anyway because it's fun, unusual, refined, reliable and set to increase in value. Hope this helps. Cheers
