In their own words

The first thing to note is the reliability of this car, The car has clocked up nearly 100k, 30k of which I have put on it, I have not had a single issue with the car. The exterior of the car is showing signs of everyday use such and dings and chips but there is no rusting or bubbling. The interior is a similar story, the leather sports seats are also doing well, I am of a larger build and this is noticeable in the drivers side bolster but it has not ripped, cracked or discoloured although I do regularly clean the seats. The only sign of wear is on the window switches where the black finish is chipping away slightly and the gear surround has been scratched by my keys. Performance wise the car is very surprising, with 180bhp and the twin turbo, turbo lag is minimal and the car seems to what to accelerate for ever and ever. I regularly achieve 60+MPG although I simply can’t help myself with my heavy right foot and usually achieve an average of 45MPG. Honestly when it comes to driving something different, fun and comfortable I can’t reccomend enough. I am currently due a new flywheel at a price of £900 including a new clutch it does sound painful but I have no doubt Imthe car will do another 100k effortlessly. BUYING ADVICE: Listen out for a rattle and vibration through the clutch pedal when on the biting point, this is a sign of a failing flywheel, at a cost of £900 to replace it along with a new clutch it’s worth factoring it into the price. Look out for rust on the front arches, the arches are prone to rusting if they have lived near the coast although after having two 9-3’s so far I haven’t had the issue yet. Try and service the car at a specialist as not only do they have access to the Saab specific software leading to a trouble free service they are usually enthusiasts who will love your car as much as you do.
