Engine 'hiccups' regularly, but dealer can't find problem.

Electric window failed, air conditioning failed, quoted £1200 to fix. This problem appears to happen to all of these cars (search the web). Its not a matter of 'if', but 'when'. This is second one where the AC has failed.
