SEAT Arona review (2021) driving

In their own words

My Arona replaced a flawless Seat Leon. All started well with the Arona, very soon the Front Assist stopped working. The car has been back to the dealer many times, they always reply that the system is (in their opinion) OK, new camera etc has been fitted - their diagnostic system shows no fault. Road driving is another issue however. Seat refuse to road test the car as diagnostics read OK.. This problem has been referred to SEAT UK customer service and their response is negative as the dealer cannot proved a fault code. In simple terms, this issue is now protracted, the front assist on my new Arona does not function, The Seat dealer and SEAT UK refuse any further assistance and suggest that I go to anther Seat Dealer for their opinion - this is not easy as I am disabled by incurable Cancer. I have a new Seat Arona with a non-functional front assist, a so called accident/incident prevention system to safeguard the safety and well being of both passengers and third parties. My opinion is this system is a liability rather than a safety feature. This opinion is also shared by many on-line correspondents enduring failures with their systems. I would recommend that potential Seat purchasers avoid models with front assist fitted.
