Other SEAT Exeo (2009 - 2013) models:

  • Summary

    4 out of 5 4.0

What does this car say about you?

That I am probably still a petrol head, even after becoming a sensible family man. That I know what makes a car look good (hopefully)

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Twin brother is jealous as he has a standard A4 and no sports seats, 18's or stiffer suspension. Ex-wife is v jealous as she cant drive it!! Daughter thinks the tinted windows make it like a limo!

Would you buy this car again and why?

Definitely. It is all things to all men, a sensible company vehicle for the working week and a fun, eager and capable sports ride at the weekend. Shame the company won't let me put the bodykit on it!

What are you likely to buy next?

If I have the chance, I will get the 173hp model as I bet it is even better!

  • Buying experience

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £15,000

When did you buy the car?

    May 2010

Did you get a good deal and why?

Definitely, managed to find a vehicle that had been discounted by almost £2k only a month before. Had v good part-ex on my previous company mule too.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Company vehicle, my budget was limited but I still wanted something a bit special. 1 series and A3 were too basic for my money but the Exeo sport was fully loaded.

    What was the dealer like?

Dealer V helpful. Able to liase with my accounts department and handle the sale very easily.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Considering the sports suspension, v low profile tyres and size, it is amazing round town. Twisty roads are eaten up with ease and make it a highly enjoyable experience. Poky 143hp engine drags the A4 sized beast between the bends as if it was the size of a Saxo and makes you want more!

    What's it like to park?

Parking a little different compare to previous company car but made easy by the sensors. Was a little scared of kerbing the big alloys at first but now am getting a dab hand at it.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

the Foot rest next to the clutch has fallen off but was easily replaced. Only other things have been a stone chip on the windscreen and a puncture.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge boot and excellent motorway driving.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sports seats, takes me back to my petrol head days and I love them!! :-)
