What does this car say about you?

    That we are black sheep.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Most are shocked that it is as spec'd as it is and how comfortable the seats are.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Kind of, we are now looking for a Leon 150bhp FR, for increased power and the tailgate (so the dog can sit in the boot).

What are you likely to buy next?

    Leon FR 150

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchise

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £3,000

When did you buy the car?

    August 2007

Did you get a good deal and why?

The dealer was a bit unsure of it because it was a SEAT and the locals didn't really know what it was???

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

We love VW's but SEAT's are way better and way cheaper!!!

    What was the dealer like?

We knew more about the car than they did, but it was a Ford main dealer! They where quick enough to take the cash though!!!

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

The 110bhp is good on the rural roads around here for overtaking the 40mph crew. It handles like it's on rails, which I find rather unusual for a car this size.

    What's it like to park?

Generally ok, it would be better if manufacturers let us see the end of the bonnet & boot lid in modern cars. Other than that it's fine. Although I really wish my wife had seen that wall in Cardiff instead of driving over it!!!

Have you had any problems with the car?

There is a knock from the front suspension, which started about six hours after we picked the car up. The dealer thought it was the rear caliper? SEAT said it was the anti-rollbar links, so they changed them, then scratched their heads when it didn't solve the problem. One year on, the problem is still there & we are no further on to finding the problem.

What's most practical about your car?

The amazing fuel economy...65mpg on a good run or around 50mpg combined.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

There's soooo many to choose from, the climate control & rear blind on a hot day...the CD multi-changer on a wet one.
