Best Car on the Road Seriously, If I won the lottery I wouldn't replace this car. In rough order of importance, it's been utterly reliable, it drives like a rocket (within the law), feels very comfortable on the motorway (I like to tour so put several thousand leisure miles on it annually), handles nicely on country lanes and pulls easily up hills. The aerodynamics are the best I've ever had in a car, even on the M6 through Shap on a stormy day. It's a very comfortable ride, even when spending all day in the car. It's proven very low maintenance requiring oil change and service at 20k mile intervals. Skoda offer excellent service as well, providing high level of detail, including specifics on tyre wear (the inexpensive factory fitted tyres were only 20% worn, and very evenly, at my 20k service). The MPG is astonishing, several times achieving over 600 miles to a single tank of fuel (9.9 imperial gallons or 45 litres). The boot capacity is good and it's easy to get the rear seats down when necessary.
