Summary
What does this car say about you?
Probably a girl racer as it is the blue Ltd Edition and has tinted rear windows and painted brake calipers. Would probably appeal to boy racers with no taste.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They think it's ok and decent enough for what it cost.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Too small. Build quality nowhere near my previous Mazda. Not enough gadgets. Not that comfortable on longer runs. More suited to 18 yr old boys!
What are you likely to buy next?
A larger car. Maybe a Mazda 6 or similar.

Thought it offered more than rival cars when working within my company car allowance.

Don't know as car was delivered to me by independent contractor appointed by leasing company.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quite fast, but otherwise no different to any other car. Not as 'sporty' as I hoped for. Cruise control is poor and doesn't let you adjust your speed fractionally when driving - you have to get to speed and then set the cruise at that speed, and repeat every time you change speed even by 1-2mph!
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Broke down when hose popped off the intercooler. Nice man from the AA fixed it, but said that it appeared to be missing a seal and was not properly connected from manufacture. Knocking from o/s/f suspension when turning tight right. Brakes grind and stick sometimes. Cover of CD autochanger broken on delivery. All above (except CD cover) due to be fixed at 20,000 mile service this week.
What's most practical about your car?
Leather seats. Wouldn't have chosen a Fabia VRS if I couldn't get them as the fabric ones are cheap, look horrible, and would get dirty too easily.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6 CD-autochanger.
