This car has taken me everywhere in the uk eating the miles up but not my bank balance it has always felt very safe in every type of weather that can be encountered in the uk The brakes Have always given me confidence in their ability to stop without dramaThe seats have been good enough for ten hour journeys. The seats are simple to adjusted and accommodate both myself and my wife who are of very different proportions The load capacity taking five adults a big dog and luggage without any problems while having storage for car consumables too is the best of any car ive had including my S type jag The simple layout works well, not over complicated the sound system is surprisingly good the heater excellent The fact that Skoda is part of the VAG group means parts are plentiful and not too expensive even the special oil the engine requires is often on offer so ends up being the same cost as other engine oils overall I service the car myself nowadays and have found all the servicing easy and simple due to good well thought out design I can think of no job that cannot be tackled with the minimum of fuss or problems I would buy Skoda again and again
