Skoda Octavia vRS (2005 - 2013) 2.0 TDI CR (170bhp) vRS Hatchback 5d Owner Review

Like any modern car, it's packed full of complex emissions controlling technology. I have had lamda sensor problems, but by steering away from the so-called fix (which is disastrous for this age car) and by virtue of the fact I drive mainly motorway miles, the DPF and other bits have been reliable. But it's a weak point for all cars these days. For the rest, it's a spacious, quick car that's not quite the quality of a VW or Audi, but a lot cheaper. Over the 9 years I have owned it, the aircon compressor and condenser have both failed, rear wiper motor failed, replaced stereo and all speakers and it is now pretty reliable.
