Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like to be different, even from other people whom own the same car! I haven't gone for the electric blue or the horrendous green, good solid "Corrado" red, looks the dogs danglies especially with the red trim and calipers.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like its aggressive stance on the road and the way it just shines when clean. The wife likes the heated seats!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, why? Because its fricking awesome thats why!
What are you likely to buy next?
No idea at the moment, at the end of my lease I would certainly look at the next gen Octavia which I will hope is out by then.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The Car is actually a personal lease vehicle arrange through Vehicles for Business in Wrexham. Its a mixed bag, its sensible/practical but at the same time can be alot of fun to drive. I wanted something different to stand out from the crowd and company car owners.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent, very supportive and helpful from order to delivery, will certainly use again in future. Skoda in Cheshire Oaks are also very helpful and even though were not getting a sale were very happy for me to test drive and check the car out.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable both motorway and around town, its a pretty big car but it handles like a golf owing that most of the components come from one! The turning circle is brilliant, the only thing I would say as a slight niggle is on the Bridgestone Potenza tyres I have the road noise can be a little intrusive but nothing like an Insignia with 19" alloys I had the misfortune of driving recently.
What's it like to park?
No issues, I went for the optional front parking sensors but to be honest I could have spent that elsewhere on the car as its a doddle even with the sensors turned off. The short doors help too, you don't need a massive gap between you and the car next to you.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nope, well not yet but I don't expect it to.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot, enough space for decent size flat pack furniture without putting the seats down. for those really large items with the seats down it beats the pants off anything in its class.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
By far the new DSG Gearbox, its an awesome pairing for the brilliant TDi engine. You need to overtake you just put your foot down and job done! The trip tonic adds a sporty feel when you need a little hands on fun.
