Pros Refined and powerful engine and ride with auto gearbox Easy to drive with light steering Reliable and good as new after 8 years Very economical for the size, insurance like small car, maybe 40mpg with luck. Lots of passenger space Has most gadgets as standard, eg leather seats and heated seats
Cons Ride quality on poor roads not that good Heater takes 15 mins to work at all Passenger space is at the expense of boot space Build quality of switches, sound quality of audio and climate control not as good as volvo VW mpg readings are a lie Manual and VW user support is poor Telephone system does not work with any current phones so useless
How reliable do you find the car?
Have only had the car for 6 months but no problems yet other than burglar alarm does not work as the battery runs out after 5 yearsDoes the car do everything you expected it to do?
Am pleased with how easy it is to drive compared to volvo v70, but ride quality on rough roads is not that great. Low profile tyres maybe do not help.About their car
