Engines can lose compression, turbo manifolds crack, steering joints and road springs fail. Mercedes garages don't generally want to know smart owners, be prepared for a lot of hassle

Mercedes garages are terrible, they are the single reason that i intend to sell this car. I'll never buy from MB or it's derivatives again.

Turbo manifold cracked losing boost, lots of hassle getting this changed under warranty

Earlier models have better build quality, RHD versions are not as well made. Mercedes garage staff have no interest whatsoever in Smarts or Smart owners. Check out the very good Smartclub on internet.
