This car shouts: friendly, fun, environmentally sound, light hearted driver. Everyone lets you out of side roads and at junctions.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves the car, without exception. I have lost track of the number of people who have said they would like to get one.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, yes, yes. The running costs are so low it is ridiculous. What are petrol stations for - well in this car they are only for snack and drink stops.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe another Sart Electric for town use, and a BMW for long journeys.

Electric cars are the future. Cheap running costs. Green environmental impact. Free of congestion charge. Free parking in Westminster.
What was the dealer like?
Mercedes Brentford are excellent - aftercare is superb.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Driving is a dream. Drives like a go-kart around town! Acceleration from the lights is fast and smooth. Brakes are excellent. Everything about driving it puts a smile on your face. The only thing I do not do is overtake on single carriageway roads - which actually makes for a more relaxing journey.
What's it like to park?
Parking a Smart is like stepping off a bike - easy, quick and guaranteed almost wherever you are.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Electric cars are new and there have been teething problems with the secondary battery and the gearbox.
What's most practical about your car?
The parking is amazing - always a space big enough. The boot is surprisingly large - I can get a week's shopping in it or two labradors (just).
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car has in-built sat-nav, hands-free telephone, air-conditioning, iPod dock, electric windows and automatic gearbox. Everything you DON'T expect in an electric car! All of these are my favourite gadgets!
