Subaru Impreza (2007 - 2012) 2.5 WRX 5d Owner Review

Absolutely excellent to drive, exciting and capable, handles beautifully but can be encouraged to misbehave if desired, mine has a performance filter and remap that produces 320hp when put in sport# setting (most aggressive of 3) but still gives about 35mpg in eco setting, can be an exciting b road attack vehicle, a calm comfy long distance drive or a nice place to be while sitting at traffic lights amonst rush hour . Visually stunning even 10 years on with no issues with rust although the previous owner have looked after the vehicle as i do and it turns heads, the interior is far more pleasing on the eye than most previous model with incredibly comfy recaro seats as an option from the factory, contols are point and shoot with nothing complicated and all dials/button are nicely labelled with smooth,solid operation, build quality in mostly positive minus some squeaks from the A pillar covers when cold, running costs are not on the cheap side but mine has cost me nothing mechanically over a service and mot since bought(£347 for service and £57 for mot both subaru dealer). No regrets buying the car, customer service has been excellent (Cuper, fife) and i look forward to many years with this car.
