Bought a new one just before the new 03my model came out, so had a good discount. Carn't get better bang for your buck.
Costs
Drive it hard and it hurts the wallet (to be expected though). Tyres, fuel, insurance yikes. Use Optimax or super unleaded if you can, Scoobies love it.

Turns us mere mortals into Colin Mcrae.
Performance
Keep the revs up and it goes like a demon, however get stuck in low revs and you'll be embarrased!!!

Not bad at all for such a focused car. My right leg goes to sleep during long journeys, but maybe thats just me.

Cat 1 immobilser & alarm as standard. Check with your insurer before you get a tracker, some require some don't. If the low life want it they'll take it.

If you want anything done you have to pester them or they won't bother.

Bad clutch judder when cold, has been fixed so don't let the dealers fob you off with ""its a trait of the car"". Boot failed to open with key.
