In their own words

Brilliant combination of performance and economy, very good handling though suspension on the firm side so you feel pot holes etc.Quiet cruising on motorways no doubt helped by high 6th gear of autobox. The torque converter autobox works very well changing as smoothly and quickly as you could hope for and even on the very rare occasions when i feel the need to intervene this is easily done with the paddle shifters. The motor is generally fairly quiet but will emit a rather pleasing 3 pot snarl if provoked and the arrival of all that lovely turbo torque from little more than tickover means effortless progress and no real need to venture beyond 4000 rpm.The amount of standard kit for the price is amazing with lots of clever safety stuff though i find the lane departure warning so irritating i have it permanently turned off,the auto emergency braking is also a bit trigger happy but i leave that on just in case.I find the interior quality fine and it looks nice though some of the plastics are a bit scratchy. The seats are fine and getting comfy behind the wheel is easy, there is room for 4 easily or 5 at a push if not too big.The boot is not huge but ok for a weekly shop,The infotainment works fine and sat nav is easy to fathom and quickly resets even if you go wrong, the rear view camera is handy though bit odd no parking sensors. One of the best features is the LED headlights absolutely brilliant on dark country roads,it`s like having floodlights and the autodip is also very useful to stop you dazzling oncoming drivers.Overall i am very happy with my swift and have no hesitation in recommending it to those of you who want something a bit more leftfield than the usual suspects

How reliable do you find the car?

Totally reliable only niggle is that the very nice burning red metallic paint seems very prone to stone chips
