Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

It’s comfortable, economical, well spec’d and pleasant to drive. Car tax is £30 which is great and it does all we need for both work and as busy grandparents. However the execution of all of these positives has been undermined by questionable quality issues. Such as the head unit giving repeated problems, the vanity light on the drivers side working intermittently despite being replaced multiple times and a steering knuckle knocking which I haven’t had happen in nearly 40 years of driving. Carpet underneath the dash barely holding to the dash and resembling straw as it’s so fragile and sagging. For me with a 3 year /60000 mile warranty Suzuki is spared in our case the pain of recurring more serious issues (oil leak). Our Hyundai has nearly triple the miles and a 5 year warranty with only one minor issue. Unfortunately cheap is cheap in the case of the SUZUKI. We will replace with another Hyundai/Kia derivative probably second hand but still more warranty cover than the much newer Suzuki. In summary nice looking comfortable and economic to run car let down by an obvious cheapness and some glaring gaps in quality. Disappointing.

How reliable do you find the car?

This was our first Suzuki and we thought given reviews at the time it would be trouble free. The car was a 95 mile pre reg and we have had a catalogue of issues relating to the heads up display including it having to be replaced plus steering wear on a car that spends most of its life driving a motorway commute to work. Since coming out of warranty we have now noticed an oil leak and drivers seat fabric looks to have lost its tautness and appears slightly loose. Was told we are just unfortunate and generally they are very reliable.

Does the car do everything you expected it to do?

The car drives well and is not encumbered by the 1.0 boosterjet. Indeed I find the car a pleasure to drive.
