a bit old now but kids in the handball/football teams enjoy it
Would you buy this car again and why?
no need for the same space - for environmental reasons we will downsize to a smaller family diesel car.
What are you likely to buy next?
almost new kia crdi sw or 3 yr old peugeot 307 1,6 hdi - i would go for toyota again if they had a thrifty diesel

space, reliability
What was the dealer like?
nice, got a good bargain. It had 107.000 km after 3 yrs.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
High position is good, easy to handle despite size. Wind sensitive. Engine ok a bit noisy on mw. 25 mpg on average with a light foot.

A bit tricky due to size

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Worst was when differential transmission broke in Autobahn in July 2003. But Toyota Assistance got us 4 nights in a 4 star hotel. Catalyst broke 2007 and AC 2009. Otherwise reliable car - 250.000 km today
What's most practical about your car?
size and flexibility with seats in back. Very comfy for 4, and ok for 6, acceptable for 7.
