Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

For me the Prius is the ideal car - quiet, efficient, economical, and into the bargain it is worth around £3,500 per year in my pocket in savings in various ways. My only regret is that the newer (next) models have acres of 'piano black' around the interior - not good for endless fingermarks - clearly not designed for practical use. I'll live with that though, the advantages outweigh a few minor issues - no such thing as perfection, is there!

How reliable do you find the car?

This is my 5th Prius (previous were all T-Spirit or 10th Anniversary - all did 80-90,000 miles with no problems). Now I have the first generation plug-in, just as in the picture with this page. Don't believe all the idiot press say - yes, only 13-14 miles on electric only - but in practice with a much bigger battery it helps the engine so much more. My first 10,000 miles were at 78mpg - great! Awaiting the next gen Plug-in now. You need to try this car for a week or more to appreciate just how good they are, and every generation gets better.
