In their own words

4 months in and I’ve noticed the following. A very comfortable and easy vehicle to drive and comes with a lot of gadgets that are designed to aid the driving experience. Smooth car to drive but sadly lacks any real get up and go, I know it’s an SUV but for a large engine it lacks any get up and go. I find I can get wheel spin if I attempt to pull away relatively fast and i feel it’s too light in the snow. The boot is good but not brilliant and some space is lost to the batteries. The gadgets - 1. adaptive cruise control - this maintains a safe distance from the car in front. However, the computer system tends to give sharp braking and occupants find themselves jerking backwards and forward. 2. Road speed sign recognition - reads the sign and alerts you if exceeeding the speed limit. I’ve had readings of 130mph in a 30mph zone, speed in reading in Km”s. 3. Brake - both Pedestrian and car intron - very very late warning, I only tested this out. I think Toyota really do need to reassess the gadgets and get updates out to owners. I wish I had stuck with VW and gone for another Tiguan. I only opted to change because of the recent diesel scandal.
