In their own words

I bought this car because I have owned larger petrol engined toyota cars for 15 years with very few problems. Therefore I decided to buy a small Toyota with the 1000cc three cylinder engine as I am now retired and only do some 10,000 miles a year on fairly short runs. I have had no problems whatsoever with the car in just over 12 months. The engine is quiet, uses no oil and remains clean. The gearbox is good and the car performs well in relation to it's engine size. Although the boot is small the carrying capacity is fine because of the sliding and folding rear seats. Although it only has rear drum brakes the car feels safe. Of course it is classed as a city car and for me in that capacity it is an excellent buy with good light steering. The engine pulls well under most conditions and is very economical. The car is also very understandable in terms of its technologies so I suppose diagnosing any problems that could arise with it in the future should not be a major issue.
