All that firepower doesn’t come cheap – fuel and insurance bills will be big and you’ll have to get it serviced by a specialist but for the performance you’re getting you’d probably have to pay three times as much to buy any similarly quick car in the first place.

TVR’s development budget is tiny compared to that of mainstream manufacturers, they’ve spent your money on the performance and looks rather than the finish so owners will need to be sympathetic.
