The range kicks off with a 3.6-litre version of TVR’s own straight-six. It’s hardly a base model with 350bhp, but for those who want more, there’s a 4.0 version with 400bhp giving access to 195mph and the sprint to sixty in 3.8 seconds.

Super fast steering helps you to just about hang onto the rampaging bull that is a wrung-out Tuscan. The ride can be pretty fidgety but it is surprisingly comfortable for such an extreme machine.
