Specialist servicing doesn’t come cheap and it has a healthy appetite for super unleaded fuel and high performance tyres. It’s group 20 insurance too but at least residual values are quite strong.

TVRs don’t have a good public reputation for their reliability and in some cases this is justified, but you’re unlikely to have major mechanical problems. Any niggles are usually easy to sort out.
