Vauxhall Combo Combo-e Cargo capacity & size

4 out of 5 4.0

Like the standard Vauxhall Combo Cargo, the Combo Electric van comes in two body sizes. From 2024 these are just known as 'Combo' and 'XL'. Below are the full exterior and load space dimensions for both versions.

Because the batteries are all tucked away under the floor, the loading bay remains the same size and shape as the regular Combo, ranging from 3.3 cubic metres for the shorter model and up to 4.4 for the XL, although that is with the FlexCargo load-through hatch deployed.

Vauxhall Combo Combo-e Cargo payload, weight & towing

4 out of 5 4.0

Payload and towing details for the Vauxhall Combo Electric van.

Vauxhall Combo Electric payload ratings

Whichever Combo Electric you go for you will get a payload that is competitive with the class, although the figures have dipped slightly from 2024 thanks to the increased level of equipment offered. The figures range from 691kg for the XL Pro model up to 781kg for the shorter model. The Crew Van manages a decent 642kg payload but bear in mind that you have to include any passengers in this allowance.

Sure, this is short of the impressive 1,000kg-plus payloads of the standard diesel Vauxhall Combo, but it is up there with most of the other rivals and certainly as good as anything is promising in the small electric van market.

Vauxhall Combo Electric towing capacity

If you want to hitch up a trailer then every Combo Electric has a maximum braked towing capacity of 750kg.
