Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch (2005 - 2010) 1.6i 16V SXi (115bhp) 3d Owner Review

Once the car has warmed up it starts to drive terribly, their is no response from the throttle to speak of and it is beaten off the line by literally everything, struggles to maintain speed in 5th and also has a shocking tapping making it sound absolutely crap..... GUTTED! When it is running nicely it is absolutely fine and quite enjoyable but 80% of the time it is horrible. Comfy inside and fairly well equipped minus a temp gauge which I find rediculous. Speakers are good and the trip computer is useful for seeing how poor the mpg is when you have to massively over rev it just to pull off. If you have absolutely no interest in actually driving and are only bothered with getting from A to B then it's ok even when running badly but I honestly can't wait to get rid or spend loads getting it sorted. I'm sure not all of them are like this but I can only review mine so definitely read other reviews first but I would be very surprised if I buy a Vauxhall again let alone an Astra.
