It draws attention, not all of it good.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I dont think so, it is just not refined enough. I had a corsa VXR before this and to be honest, it was more fun.

What are you likely to buy next?

Maybe a Seat Leon cupra 280, although that is a way off yet.

What was the dealer like?

The dealer was fine, just as you would expect.

What's it like to drive?

I bought this car after reading reviews that state it is a capable town car as well as a performance hot hatch. Don't believe them! it really is like driving two different cars. On a run, with a bit of clear road it feels really good, but around town in heavy traffic it is not good at all. You simply have to change gear too much and the gear box is not nice at all. Also fuel economy is a joke. The stated urban mpg is supposed to be over 26. I am getting 20.6 and i don't have a heavy right foot. I know manufacturers figures are never possible to reach, but this difference is massive.

What's it like to park?

It is really difficult to park. the car is way wider than you may think and the rear window is tiny. really does need parking aids as standard.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Only a failed valve on a new alloy/tyre that the dealer put on the car when i bought it. This is a pain because i could not use the tyre repair kit and there is no spare wheel, so it was an AA job.

What's most practical about your car?

There is a really good size boot.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It has to be the electronic hand-brake. it really does make driving easier, although in stop start traffic it can become tedious.
