When did you buy the car?

    July 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

Extremely cheap purchase from copart. I was lucky that not many people were interested in this car as it was a category C but after my inspection of it I have resource and people who can repair it cheap.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I bought the car from copart as it had been written off due to being vandalised. The only damage suffered was key marks over the body and broken windows in the rear door and quarter panel.

    What was the dealer like?

It was delivered to my house on a trailer.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Engine smoked a lot and the engine management light and electronics light came on due to faulty Mass air flow sensor. The wheels were out of alignment. The driver side speaker was broken. My ignition broke and could have costed me hundreds of pounds. Luckily I know someone and once I got the car started with a screwdriver I drove to my dads friend who replaced all ignition locks in the door, boot and ignition with a scrapped Corsa one. My battery went flat so I called a breakdown to jump start as its a diesel it didn't start when we pushed it down the road to try to get it started. I'm getting the driver door panel replaced tomorrow for £10 and the outside door handle for £5 plus what ever it costs him to install them.

What's most practical about your car?

The car is very nimble and small and has good viewing angles that driving it is a breeze.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

My favourite accessory is air conditioning!
