Other Vauxhall Corsa (2014 - 2019) models:

  • Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

A fun, young adult! But then I'm only 22!

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They all like it. Especially the colour combination of red paint and white alloys and door mirrors. (I had the stripes removed).

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes for sure. Maybe the diesel next time as May end up doing more miles in the future for my job.

What are you likely to buy next?

No idea, however, I like the idea of being higher up so maybe a Juke/Captur/Mokka etc.

  • Buying experience

    5 out of 5 5.0

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £8,995

When did you buy the car?

    January 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

They helped me get out of a negative equity finance agreement into a brand new Corsa. They helped out 100% when every other dealership said no to me straight away. So really happy.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Traded in a Ford Focus for something more economical and cheaper to run.

    What was the dealer like?

Dealer is fantastic. A credit to Vauxhall. Thurlow Nunn Norwich North. 10/10.

  • Driving it

    5 out of 5 5.0

    What's it like to drive?

Very smooth, and very nippy too. Don't believe what the reviewers say about how poor and unpowerful the 1.2 petrol. Its more than adequate for town driving and the odd occasional dual carriageway cruise.

    What's it like to park?

Very easy due to the compact dimensions, plus the back is pretty flat anyway so you know where the back of the car is.

  • Living with it

    5 out of 5 5.0

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing, but then it's only 2 days old so I should hope not!

What's most practical about your car?

It looks compact from outside but tonnes of space inside, room for 5 passengers and the boot is plenty big enough for a supermini. Vauxhall have really thought about the small things that help out drivers, like a special place for the parcel shelf, rather than you taking the whole thing out, and moving the back seats forward slightly for a more square boot.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Bluetooth, iPod connectivity and cruise control. Oh and the heated windscreen! Would be lost without it now, especially in this cold weather!
