In their own words

I purchased April 2017 brand new. In the following weeks it was already in the garage under warranty works. rattling in the engine, heating fan broken, speakers had fallen out of the brackets and the rear wing bonding pads had come loose. These are the issues I had in the first year of ownership. Completely destroyed the new car experience as you expect reliability and it was anything but. Vauxhall's customer service is the worst I've ever experienced they all tell you different hings and generally are not willing to help after sales. The only pros I can come up with is the tech, Apple Carplay, built in Wi-Fi and On-star (allows monthly report of your vehicle to be emailed to you, Includes a lot of info including Tyre pressure and fuel consumption). To surmise, if you have £16,000 or £1000 and £200ish a month, this is not the car i'd be looking for. Yes the insurance is good for young drivers hence my original purchase. Although I'd personally point towards a 2-3 year old A1 1L, Ford focus, maybe even a 1 series BMW. This car does not feel worth the value they sell them at. If you plan to have this a couple years to get insurance down and Part exchange into something new. DONT! My vehicle is 5k under mileage, I owe 7000, and the highest offer anywhere was £5300, depreciation is ridiculous. In all honestly, if the reliability of this vehicle proved to be better, I would've thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Although the combination of warranty work and absolutely dreadful after sales teams. I'd never buy a Vauxhall again. In my nearly 3 years of ownership, and taking into consideration all points made above, I'd give this car a score of 4/10. I hope this helps who ever reads this. Vauxhall if you are reading this. I'm sorry that you've thoroughly failed to satisfy a customer and i'd recommend improving the customer service if you continue to sell vehicles of such poor quality.
