What does this car say about you?

A practical car with all the comforts. But not a flash Harry or idiototic racing driver in a BMW or Audi. Somebody who appreciates value for money.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Two opinions the people who drive BMWs, AUDI etc don't like it as they think that the Vauxhall badge means that the car is of low quality compared to theirs. This in fact is wrong as the vauxhalls quality inside and out is on par with them but cost a lot less.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, but may consider the turbo version as extra BHP could be useful when carrying a full load. On everyday driving with four adults the 1.4 is perfectly adequate.

What are you likely to buy next?

New model Vauxhall corsa 2015 model year.

    What's it like to drive?

The ride on this car is better than a Ford Focus. It's road holding and cornering are also on par with the focus if not better. The 1.4 engine is light enough to give the car a really impressive turn in on corners. Only down side is for quicker overtaking the 1.4 turbo would be better. But I don't think it is possible to drive fast anywhere anymore without the police or cameras monitoring so I think the days of fast cars are numbered.

    What's it like to park?

Parking is very easy. Rear parking sensors and electro hydraulic power steering are standard.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong. I purchased a petrol version because of the mixed town driving that I do. Buying diesel is the wrong choice for the vast majority of people and they then have problems with the cars running properly.

What's most practical about your car?

Everything is practical . It is roomy, has a large boot for a medium sized car. Lots of storage. It is very comfortable.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Electronic parking brake. Every car should have this. Sat nav is easy to use and is large 7" screen position on top of dash in the correct position for viewing whilst driving.
