Yes, it’s the perfect Golf. Best equipped car in the range and fast enough for most people.

Choice of Audi TT, Audi A3 saloon or a MK 7 Golf.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Private sale at book value. Car was in perfect condition because of the careful orignal owner. Car was like new.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Well specced Golf with good running costs. The 1.4 TSI is much better than the 1.6.

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Smooth and quick enough when you want some fun. Economical when you drive carefully. I'm getting 45mpg as a long term average.

What's it like to park?

Very easy as visibility out is good.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Not a thing.

What's most practical about your car?

Much larger in the rear seats than the Mk 4. Nicer to drive, too.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Cruise control and iPod dock. Auto lights, wipers and mirrors are great too.
