No, added to the fact that the dealer (who my contract is with) tried to ignore the issue telling me to contact VW. VW admitted a known problem but are not recalling these models in spite of the fact the car would fail an MOT. A MAJOR FAULT AT THAT AGE & MILEAGE.

I had previously owned a Golf which I had been very pleased with.

Have you had any problems with the car?
This is a 2006 car & has a faulty ABS control unit which requires replacement at a cost of approx. £1500. The car has a mileage of only 16,600 miles. Has anyone else had a similar experience as I have been told this is a known fault?
