Volkswagen Golf Hatchback (2004 - 2008) 1.9 S TDI 5d (AC) Owner Review

Bought from a local garage as sold my 3.2 Audi TT due to buying a house after a more cost effective car. I couldn't of picked a better car, had no issues at all in nearly two years ownership. Great MPG get 420 plus on a tank of 55L and over 500 on a long motorway run. Its not the best car ive owned in terms of looks and performace but its the best ive owned relability wise, has anything I wanted, good standard sound system, cruise control, power steering, automatic wipers and mirrors, large boot space for the size of car and might only be 103bhp but the turbo does a fantastic job get up a large hill on the dual-carriageway by my house doing 80mph easily. When you need the power to speed up and overtake its still there without having to drop down a gear like in previous cars ive owned. Would recommend this too anyone and will be keeping for a few more years at least. I drive on average 12k miles a year and 1500k a week in my work van, the car is comfortable to sit in having done 500 miles round trips upto Manchester on a number of occusions.
