VW Golf SV review

Want to know everything there is to know about this car?

In their own words

This car is perfect for the non-fashion conscious but discerning owner. As the saying goes "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" and to me this car is beautiful. I wanted a car that was easy to get in and out of and in 2018 this meant a faux SUV, they being tall with an elevated seating position. I looked around and a VW Tiguan looked a possible candidate BUT it was too long (for my drive), too expensive (for my pocket); so out of the question. A visit to my local VW dealership confirmed this BUT whilst there I looked at the T-Roc and might have considered this but also spotted a car I didn't even know existed, the Golf SV. In the past I had looked at the Golf Plus but at the time it was more than I wished to afford. So, after a deal of research and an irresistible offer from a nearby dealership I bought my SV (SportsVan). I love it. Its got everything available in a 2 wheel drive Tiguan or T-Roc with a lot more value for money than either. It's probably more comfortable than either and in my opinion it's the best car I have ever owned (and at 75 years of age) there has been a few (VW, Austin, Vauxhall, Opel, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi) I love this car. It's spacious, sprightly, goes accurately where you point it and have I mentioned - I love it AND so does my wife, who drives it more than I do.
