Have owned and driven over the years Ford Escort, Saab 900, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry/Previa/Sienna, Hyundai Sonatas, and Subaru Forester. Earlier owned two Volvo wagons. The Passat wagon measures up to the best of them in comfort, reliability, performance, and utility. Simply well-conceived from an engineering and styling standpoint, in and out. I feel very fortunate to have lucked into this car (bought from a friend who was transferring out of Geneva).
How reliable do you find the car?
Runs steady and smooth. Has only needed an oil change and a new battery in 18 months. All components and options work as new.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Tremendous load-carrier, comfortable and reliable. Very strong engine. Automatic transmission is a little sensitive but easily mastered. Great gas mileage.About their car
