Okay . now permanently parked as the engine has failed.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes dreadful car. Timing chain slipped which is a known problem with this engine. VW Take no responsibility whateover even though they no there is a problem, otherwise why have they since introduced a modifed timing chain and tensioner.
