Volkswagen Tiguan (2008 - 2016) 2.0 TDi BlueMotion Tech Match (177bhp) 5d DSG Owner Review

Everything is well put together and shout quality. There a few weaknesses though: adblue (dealer kept quiet about) difficult to replenish, centre console lid has broken twice and boot space could be a few inches wider and longer. The DGS auto box is very smooth and responsive. Both my wife and I enjoy long and short trips and often travel through France where it acts really smoothly on the autoroutes and very economically at 130 km/hr. People have said that there is plenty of room and comfort in the back passenger seats. I is very sure footed on small windy roads as well. It is proving one of the best cars I have had as regards tyre wear as I have only just changed them at 38k miles with still some tread left but needed to change as side walls were cracking. I would say that it will be a very strong used car buy.
