In their own words

The VW Up GTI is nippy, agile and fun to drive. The throaty soundtrack when you put your foot down will bring a smile. It will happily keep pace on the motorway loaded with passengers and luggage and in 5 door guise there’s a surprising amount of legroom in the rear. You have to work the excellent gearbox to get the best out of the small, well tuned engine but after owning several bigger, more powerful semi auto motorway mile munchers, this little car is a joy, if not having the same level in of comfort on longer journeys. Interior is a bit basic but has all you need and whilst it doesn’t have different modes nor many options, all that detracts from it’s purpose; a fun, light, economical, good value and fairly unique proposition that’s also very practical. The 5 door is the one to go for, the little rear parking camera a surprisingly good option with the auto LED lights. Mine’s white with the black stripe and it contrasts really well with the tartan seats and red fascia. You won’t be disappointed.
